All Are Welcome
We are closely following guidance from the CDC and local health authorities to plan for and monitor the COVID-19 situation. We've been praying about and for you. All services at this time are live stream only.
To continue a sense of being connected with each other and our community, Bethel continues to offer worship through our YouTube Live Streaming and Phone Patch. We will not be having in-person gatherings at Bethel at this time. There is just no way we can adequately and responsibly review and address the many recommendations and be ready to safely reopen that quickly. Until then we will be having YouTube Live videos and the Phone Patch available on Sundays at 10:00 AM.
We encourage you to gather as a family and worship God alongside us. We are still the church outside of any building. We look forward to being with you in spirit!
Ron Gullickson, Bethel's Council President and Dean Sutera, Bethel's Transition Team Leader have an update for you on the Call Process for Bethel. They will keep you updated in the Bethel Bell or you can read about it by clicking here. If you would like to learn more about the Imagine Covenant, you can email Judy at email@example.com for more information. Feel free to contact the members of the Transition Team with your questions on this process. The Transition Team Members are listed in the notes from Ron Gullickson, Council President.
What we are doing during this time of social distancing and quarantine.
Due to the dramatically increasing number of cases ALL applications in the state of Washington have been placed on hold. The U.S. is seeing a major increase in the number of COVID 19 cases and deaths, because people are leaving their homes, gathering in large numbers, and not wearing masks. The state of Washington's numbers have increased to numbers close to where they were at the beginning of the pandemic. In the last week the U.S. went from a little less than 3 million cases to now 3.2 million cases. I presented this information to the council via slide show at the July Council meeting.
What We Believe
We believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth.
And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord; Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He descended into hell; The third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from there He shall come to judge the living and the dead.
We believe in the Holy Spirit; the holy catholic church, the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.
